Melford Stevenson – Defence Counsel
Christmas Humphreys – Prosecuting counsel
Gwilym Lloyd-George – Home Secretary 1955.
At midday on 12th July 1955, the day before she was hanged, Ruth’s original solicitors Victor Mishcon – left -(later Lord Mishcon) and Leon Simmons of Victor Mishcon and Co, visited her in the condemned cell at Holloway prison.
I read a couple of books including the Hancock book and the one written by Georgina Ellis. I have tried to get your book but it is not available in Trinidad where I live. I always wondered what happened to the Findlaters. Did you do any research in this area?
Regards
Mike

Mike,I’ve just posted a word or two on Monica Weller’s Continuing Research site.To repeat it I knew Tony Findlater in the South of France in the 70s and 80s,At the time I was unaware of his connection to the Ruth Ellis case.

To me the simple question was did she pull the trigger or not……
I certainly wish all those involved and adversely affected by her execution the best of luck in their endeavours, for justice and peace.

Hi
As you will have noticed I have edited your comment.
All my research has been carried out with absolute integrity.
What I found makes uncomfortable reading for some people who took the 54-year old Ruth Ellis story at face value.
If you are interested in discovering the truth about the case may I humbly suggest you scrutinise other websites that have not updated their stories about the Ruth Ellis case and question their authors about the authenticity of their information. The release of new documents at The National Archives, particularly since 2006, brings into question the soundness of the original court case, the reason for the bundling of Ruth Ellis’s defence by her lawyer and the true identity of those people closely connected to Ruth Ellis.
Thank you for your comment and for giving me another opportunity to explain my complicated findings to you.
